Solar modules are the generation source of the off-grid system. Quality checking confirms that the selected panels are suitable for the site, compatible with the controller/inverter limits and supported by proper warranty records.

Why It Matters

Panel quality directly affects daily energy generation and battery recharge time.

Certified modules reduce the risk of early degradation, hot spots and warranty disputes.

Serial-number records make warranty claims and future replacement easier.

Required Checks

Module wattage, voltage, current and temperature coefficient from datasheet.

Module quantity and string voltage within charge controller or inverter limits.

Shade-free layout, tilt, orientation and cleaning access.

Glass, frame, junction box and connector condition before installation.

Manufacturer warranty, product warranty and performance warranty terms.
